    Graphic Designer

Connor joined JUMP in 2024 as their latest Graphic Designer after studying in London and residing in New Zealand for a while. Connor’s role involves working on a diverse range of briefs and styles for various clients.

Born and raised in the scenic countryside of Northumberland, Connor always had a passion for drawing and art since being at school. He was always caught drawing in his workbooks for other subjects. His interest in graphic design sparked during a skiing trip in high school, where he was captivated by the amazing artwork on people's snowboards.

Faced with choosing his next steps after AS-levels, Connor attended an open day at Newcastle College and decided to pursue a course in graphic design. After achieving an extended diploma, he embarked on a six-month working holiday in New Zealand. During this time, he worked as a designer for a hostel, travelled across both the North and South Islands and sold cookies in the skiing capital, Queenstown for a well-loved New Zealand brand.

Upon returning, Connor accepted an offer to study Graphic Design at Ravensbourne University in London, where he completed his diploma. Missing home, family and friends, Connor moved back to Newcastle to seek a full-time role in design. After securing a position at a global engineering firm, Connor gained valuable experience and was retained full-time before transitioning to agency life at JUMP.

Now a Graphic Designer in a bright and brilliant team at JUMP, Connor is looking forward to learning from the talented people around him.

Outside of design, Connor enjoys film photography, hikes in the North East and Lake District (but would love to see the mountains in Switzerland or Canada someday), and loves to cook something new if a mid-week Domino’s isn’t too tempting.

Give anything and everything a try where you can, you never know what kind of project opportunity it might lead to.
