Hannah started her design career as a Junior Graphic Designer at JUMP, straight out of university, back in the summer of 2016. Hannah is now a Senior Designer at JUMP.

Originally from Leeds, Hannah now calls North Yorkshire home. She studied for a Foundation Diploma at Leeds College of Art and then for a degree in Graphic Design at Northumbria University where she achieved a first-class honours degree.

While in her last year at University, Hannah won a competition with global branding agency, Jones Knowles Ritchie, and got the opportunity to work at their studio in London for two weeks. During her work experience, she worked on projects for clients including Irn Bru and WKD.

Growing up in a creative family, Hannah was always encouraged to draw and paint, inspiring her to a creative career. At JUMP, Hannah is responsible for overseeing various projects and as part of the design team, helps with creative problem-solving, constructing brands and producing web designs for a wide range of different clients across multiple sectors.

A big thinker with a keen eye, one of Hannah’s favourite parts of graphic design is seeing projects through from start to finish and comparing the before and after once a job is finished as it allows her to see the improvement and be proud of a project. Hannah enjoys exploring colour, fonts and illustration styles which can be hugely rewarding. She also enjoys the variety of work that graphic design has to offer and says it keeps the creative juices flowing.

Outside of JUMP, Hannah can be found working on her side hustle drawing pet portraits, renovating her 1930s home and baking, but mostly trying to get her cat Rudy’s attention.

Ask questions, work hard and be nice to people.
