Kris is not an academic. The passion and knowledge he obtained for development came about in two stages. The first being when he received his first copy of Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Dreamweaver in 1999 and taught himself how to code. The second, when working in an IT Team for an Awarding Body called NCFE, he met Rob (a consultant at that point) and together they built an e-learning platform for Key Skills learners throughout the UK.
In 2014, Kris progressed into Project Management with a Prince2 Practitioner Certification helping to implement robust methodologies, and streamlining the delivery process of projects within JUMP. Kris is now the Technical Director at JUMP, overseeing the delivery of all digital projects.
Kris has a passion for leadership and tries to foster an environment of collaboration and innovation with those around him – but you will have to ask the team if he is successful at that or not…
Kris is passionate about developing and improving the JUMP team, improving efficiencies in process and delivery, and enjoying working with the best colleagues in the game.
Kris is a keen DIYer and enjoys home renovations and improvements in his spare time, which he compares to the buzz he gets working in the creative and digital industry.
